Zuckerberg's Eagle-Surfing Extravaganza: A Patriotic Lake Tahoe Fourth of July

Just when you thought Mark Zuckerberg couldn’t get any more internet-breaking, he swoops in wearing a full-body bald eagle costume and proceeds to wakeboard across what many suspect is Lake Tahoe, proving once again that tech billionaires definitely know how to celebrate Independence Day.
The Meta CEO dropped a viral Instagram reel that’s part meme, part patriotic performance art. Decked out in a red, white, and blue inflatable eagle outfit, Zuckerberg glided across the water to the soundtrack of “America, F, Yeah” from the cult classic “Team America: World Police,” transforming a typical lake day into pure comedic gold.
From Tech Mogul to Meme Legend
This isn’t Zuckerberg’s first rodeo of internet-breaking content. Last year’s Fourth of July saw him surfing in a suit and bowtie, holding a beer and an American flag, a move that set the internet ablaze. This year’s eagle costume performance seems to be a deliberate attempt to one-up his previous stunt, complete with outstretched wings and a nod-and-wink to viral internet culture.
Beyond the Lake Day Shenanigans
While the video garnered nearly a million likes and comments like “Sam Altman would never,” it’s worth noting that Zuckerberg is actually building a seven-building compound in the Lake Tahoe area. This isn’t just a random lake day, it’s essentially his backyard playground.
The day didn’t stop at eagle surfing. Zuckerberg followed up with another video featuring friends dressed as Avengers, recorded backwards to create a dramatic jumping effect. Wearing a Captain America-inspired shirt, he continues to prove that billionaires might just have the most elaborate ways of having fun.
From serenading his wife Priscilla Chan in a borrowed Grammy jumpsuit to commissioning a seven-foot sculpture in her likeness, Zuckerberg has transformed from tech CEO to internet performance artist. Love him or laugh at him, he’s mastered the art of staying relevant, one ridiculous costume at a time.
