Hockey Comes Home: Golden Knights Touchdown in Tahoe

Get ready, Tahoe hockey fans, the Vegas Golden Knights are rolling into town, and they’re bringing serious ice-cold energy to South Lake Tahoe. On July 12th, the VGK Road Trip will transform the local ice arena into a hockey playground, giving young athletes a chance to skate alongside their NHL heroes.
More Than Just a Clinic
This isn’t your average sports event. The Golden Knights are bringing their entire squad, including mascot Chance, team broadcasters, and VGK Cast members, to connect directly with local fans. With the recent success of their ECHL affiliate Tahoe Knight Monsters making playoffs in their inaugural season, the hockey community here is buzzing with excitement.
Who Can Join?
The clinics are split into two age groups: budding hockey stars aged 5-8 will take the ice from 11:00-12:00 pm, while slightly older athletes aged 9-13 will get their shot from 12:00-1:00 pm. CORE Water is keeping everyone hydrated, ensuring these young players can give their absolute best.
What to Know Before You Go
Advance registration is mandatory and can be completed through the Jr Vegas Golden Knights registration link. Located at 1176 Rufus Allen Blvd in South Lake Tahoe, this event promises to be more than just a hockey clinic, it’s a community celebration of the sport.
Whether you’re a die-hard hockey fan or just looking to see some NHL magic up close, this road trip is your chance to get up close and personal with one of hockey’s most exciting teams. Don’t miss out!
